I've got what I call a pride puzzle!
It was given to me by a good friend. And I'm really a fan of these dx300 amplifiers so I must bring it back to life!
So far here is what it's missing or will need.
Missing both transformers.
Missing plate choke.
Missing meter.
Missing main relay socket on the burnt up input board! So will need a new relay/ input board.
Missing all the switches.
Missing the blower fan.
Will need a new face Plate. ( No problem as I sell them and plenty in stock)
Will need both of Hv and Lv Nomad boards and anti suicide updates.
Will need a new tube.
I've got a couple new old stock covers so won't have to do any painting and body work to this nasty cover.
And I'm sure lots of little things like missing screws ect.
I've already acquired a High voltage transformer from Nomad! (Thanks again).
No reply from Mr. Bill Curd on his FB page about a low voltage transformer. But I've found that Floyd has replacements in stock at his website Eagle Made. So I've got one one the way.
I'm already about $450.00 into this amplifier and will needs lots more before it's done! Lol
Probably end up having more into it then I could sell it for! Lol but what can I say I like working on them and hate to see it in its current condition.
I better get to chewing because I think I bit off too much !
