Qixiang 10m Base Station ?

Not to beat a dead horse guys but do you think we will ever see a base version of all these great chinese mobiles that are on the market ?
I know using a power supply isnt a big deal but i think if they produced one say around the specs of a at6666pro it would be a banger. Keeping my fingers crossed maybe one day nice weekend. Jeff

A little while back there was some supposed backroom information going around saying they were actually working on one but it went quiet. I'm holding on to a hope for it because I'm right along with you. Maybe @Pez has some insight to either support or squash the idea all together.

There is no base station planned on the near roadmap sorry to say. It's a topic that does come up a bit, and it's something I would love to see personally. Never say never (because things can (and do) change) but due to comparatively low volumes and higher build costs, it would likely take another company who wants QX to ODM one to make it happen.

Yes maybe one day. I will keep the idea alive when you think of it, they mostly just need the box and pwr supply. I remember having this eagle tomahawk chinese base years ago. Lol. what about a modern something like that with a 5555n2 board in it .

The AT-6666PRO is not just a "crap chickenbander" despite the QX shade you throw out. Agree to disagree on that if you like, I won't mind

I agree about the ridiculously high "HF" prices of the RCI bases, but they still sell plenty of them as not everyone wants a HF rig. Enough to make it "real" for some manufactures to still continue with.

It could be done for just over half the price of the HF rig you are likely thinking of, which would be very attractive to a lot of people I'm sure, but it needs MOQ and all the things I mentioned earlier. Not on the near roadmap. And obviously not on your christmas list regardless. hihi
