RCI 2995DX CF troubleshooting help needed

That narrows it down a bit. If the transmitter is also putting out a signal on multiple channels it would point to something the receiver and transmitter have in common.

But this a receive-side only fault. First thing that comes to mind is the first IF filter FL2 or possibly the second AM ceramic filter FL1. No good way to test those except to replace the part and see what changes.

Any chance this radio is new enough to be under warranty?
