Science project #1 (attempt at wireless transmission)

I have two old CB radios I am working on and there is little traffic (or they don't work too good)

I recently obtained a Dynascan BK 2005 and had an idea maybe I can attach an antenna to the output and see if one of these radios can find it

I'm happy to report that it worked good



All I did was put the generator on about 27 Mhz (it's probably not really good enough for los alamos)
and used at first internal modulation then connected another generator for external modulation then turned the knobs on the each device
I gotta say yeah I know you guys are like....ok ....
what's the big deal but wow man I thought it was cool

I did fail one aspect I should have connected the frequency counter but stuff was kinda getting out of hand all the cables and crap everywhere

I always wondered why the radio guys know so much about electronics and stuff wow this stuff is REALLY COOL

Man it's really crazy thinking about how guys invented and developed all this technology

What would happen you put some audio on the external modulation?

It occurred to me maybe I didn't even need an antenna on the transmitter idk maybe just the BNC would have worked.

At first I was gonna reply yes sir I did use my AF frequency generator for the external I made a video of it
Also the internal modulation was audible it works good.
But then I got to thinking maybe you mean actual audio.
I'll have to think about what I could pipe into it.

I was gonna say I made a video then I thought maybe we can upload videos here ??!

Btw I don't want to use up resources on the site with loading it down with a meaningless video so lmk I'll be glad delete it

Warning it's hard to hear in the beginning you'll be tempted to turn your volume up so be careful when you see me change decade frequency don't have your volume cranked
