Short Mobile CB Antenna Advice

Im thinking look and compare a k40 to a wilson lil wil.set swr to the channel you use most, 300 watts is pushing a 3 ft stick imo.but if your radio is maxing at say 50 watts pep it will work fair.but like i said my wilson is working fine but i buy a new 1 it could be no good . Many great suggestions above.

I'll be more than happy to build you a dummy load on a stick to your specifications.
6 gauge copper wire should handle whatever you want to put into it.

If you make a cap hat on a short coiled antenna like that and make it resonant on 27 MHz, it'll be far from a dummy load on a stick.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
