I work on and repair that kind old tube stuff.
but it would cost a lot of money to send it out.
do you live around Baton Rouge. ??
and maybe a hard to find transformer or tube is needed.
or many capacitors need replacing.
what is the apparent problem with that receiver?
I just gave a guy all my tubes, an old Hallicrafters receiver,
variacs, germanium transistors, since I did not plan on working
on that stuff anymore. He was going to send it to shango066 (YouTube)
but he does not want it either.

The older they get, the more expensive it gets to rehab them. I wish I had a name to pass along, but everyone I knew who would take that job has passed on, can't see well enough or hold his hands steady to do that kind of job.
