Hey Scottie,

Welcome aboard, I have been contemplating the same antenna and the white lightning also. I was leaning towards the M104 and 105, but I have a small quad know that has been working ok and Im thinking of just sticking with the quads. Just waiting on some more info from them now. Ill keep you informed. Happy Holidays, Jim

Here's a link that is close to what I'm putting up. I've got the same crank up tower but will be putting up a 5 band 4 element instead of the 2 element shown.Quad Project

You whacky hams and your spider web antennas....J/K Mike. Real nice setup. That must be a popular antenna cause in my search for the perfect quad I have run into a few web pages with them antennas. I was reading that your swrs were around 1.6 from 20 to 10 meters. Now my CB brain kicked in and was wondering if it was for 11 meters also. My brain is a sponge ready to asorb.

Although not "optimum", you may be able to use a tuner and work it off the 10 or 12 meter band.

Hey Stealman,

You can get the antenna specs here Click Here for the SE antennas. And also click here Roof Mounts for some tripod roof mounts. A lot of good choices.

Mike,

Thanks for the info. I am working on a deal right now for a Quad. I have been doing a lot of reading cause I like the regular yagi's (ie horizontal) but I really cant find a true bias opinion for the yagi or quad 11meter wise. It still isnt a done deal but then to me that is what the fun is about (the quest). Thanks, Jim

Does anyone know anything about the signal engineering beams? I was thinking about buying one but I didnt know how well they performed.

Thanks
