Hello guys im looking to upgrade to a signal generator that doesnt take much electricty any advice on one to get?

Nah, for SSB I use my PC computer as dual tone signal generator

siglent has one for like 400 bucks wonder if its a good one says its 40mhz

How does that work? Specs say that the minimum output is 1mV; not 1uV. How can this work for alignment? Or are you speaking of just using it for repairs?

Unless it was an OLD tube type it should not use much power at all. It's only making milliwatts.Are you looking for something capable of being battery operated?

its a hp 8656a you think it doesnt draw alot of power?
