I have a model 90-1 VFO. I also have a Midland 898B.
Although I need a model 90-6 to work with it.
I have found info for 90-1, 90-3, 90-5, 90-7
But can not find the info for 90-6. C13, 14, 15 in the VFO needs to be changed. I think it should be 7 mhz and it is on 11mhz .

Any one seen any info for it?

Thanks

Yup, I have the manuals on all of the 90 series.
It just does not list the parts for the 90-6

From the chart you posted it shows the midland 898B using the 90-6:

Code:
[b]90-6 [/b]
23.580 or
7.860 x 3 =23.580 Lafayette: SSB-23, SSB-25, SSB-25A,

Midland: 13-896, 13-898, [b]13-898B[/b]

Hygain: Hyrange 5

Realistic: TRC-47, TRC48

I know it can be changed over from what I seen from the models listed in the manual.
Just have to find the right components.
thanks

well if you can't figure it out, I have a sbe console II that 90-1 will go right into, Been looking for a Vfo for it, I had one in the mid 70's But can't remember what brand it was?

I have a Midland 13-898B as well. It has been stored in the basement for the last 20 years or so. I just ran down to check out the VFO attached to it. The Siltronix-80-1 works well with it.

I love that old radio. Great audio. SSB works good also. I sold the Siltrinix VFO. I am going to try to change a Pay VCO over. It is a C2 model.
Just have to remember which crystal to pull in the Midland. 7 or 14 mhz.
Seems the Pay III are easier to change than the Siltronix were.

A friend of mine that is a Ham operator wanted it so I let have it.
