Make a cut in the outer tube so a hose clamp can be used to squeeze the inner tube. Use anti seize that has metal in it between the tubes to seal out moisture and improve conductivity.
I now have the SY27-4
It required cutting all the elements with a hacksaw.
It was pretty straightforward and simple. I bought a metric tape measure to make all the measurements.
I cut mine for 27.500
