Last night I finished my 160m, 80m and 40m work then I switched to 28.325, but I forgot to switch the antenna to my 10m antenna, weirdly enough I could hear a signal similar to the WWV, hitting as high as an s3, when I went back to my 10m antenna I could just barely hear it, at least I think I could... anyway I am at a loss as to what this was.

How long did you listen to this?If it were a time interval signal I think it would ID eventually in either voice or CW.I doubt any government would have a standard time station in an international amateur band.

I am wondering if you are close to an AM broadcast station I had a similar thing happens years ago and it turned out to be a harmonic that I was hearing. I can't even remember how the radio engineer explained how it would happen but it had something to do with a corrosive connection on the antenna I was using.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
