You do a reset on the 955 by powering off, then hold all 3 buttons, scan, function and color in, while turning the radio back on. It will show reset all, turn the radio back off, then on again and you're done. Rick's CB in GA is the shop warranty work goes to that I know of, good guy. 3 yr warranty on the radio and you pay the shipping after getting your rma #, they pay to send it back. All in all, I do like this radio, and no one has ever said it sounds bad on AM or SSB, just nice clean and loud.
