quick question when using an external dosy fc-50 freq counter for usb channel 20 =27.2060?? and lsb =27.2040 ?? 148gtl side mike
using a 1000hz

You really need to use a hardwired counter on SSB. Inline counters need a stable carrier to properly read the frequency.
It could also be that the radio drifts a little when you change frequency.

Ah, is the FC-50 the one with the tone generator in it?

If so, you add 1 kHz to the reading for USB, subtract one for LSB.

Pretty sure that's a straight counter that doesn't perform any arithmetic on the reading.

Is this the one you can press a button and freeze the display after you drop the key?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
