The arrogance of some...

So without reading the entire thread ill drop my 2¢.
From what I understand older amateur operators are still steamed about the fcc taking away 11 meter and allowing the general public to transmit on cb frequencies without any type of training or licence.

That is just another old wives tale that most CBers keep telling. Hams never used 11m to any great extent and a very small minority were pissed about losing it. Most could not have cared less. The 10m band was and still remains so much wider with MUCH more spectrum.

Not YOU, but the topic. It just doesn't ever work, and I'm sure at times causes the admins a lot of grief...lol.

Correct. A few years ago we adopted a policy of no hams versus CBer tytpe threads as they ALWAYS degrade to a shit fest. We try and flush it before it gets to that point because they ALWAYS get to that point.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
