I randomly found this last night and remembered that recently someone had asked about them.
Carl used to use that round military surplus meter movement, not this big meter so maybe they are not so prone to get stuck.

There's a local who has a Bulldog. Impressive looking meter for sure. A Working Original. Don't know if he got it calibrated but it needed a calibration - the different watt level settings didn't match .... but once doing that would be an awesome meter for sure. Would love to have it over here.
