i got a well used lincoln arc welder,any way to install it for as tool time tim says MORE POWER

At this point, I don’t know if more power would be beneficial or not, you mean watts I assume. Voltage might help but that would increase wattage also. It just has these little quirks about it that just... I don’t know.

It’s connected to a Predator 10K dual coil that’s roof mounted, the receive is really good. I’m not equally impressed with the transmit but I don’t have reliable references for what it’s doing. No doubt it’s reaching out there but to what extent I’m not sure.

I really more surprised that it’s not exploded already. It’s fun and it looks cool but a regular 955 with an external amp behind it is more practical. Far as sound quality goes, it can’t touch my S9.

Bit of an issue with that. The Lincoln's output is constant current, not voltage.
Would make a hell of a modulator stage

Well noise is what I’m getting with this project today... to the bat cave it shall go and we’ll see what’s up with it. This might be the end. And then again, I’ve only slept 2 hours in 2 days so maybe I’m imagining it all.

Yeah, the “conservative” tuning on this thing has probably helped it survive, so out with that crap.

Time to crank this thing up and put the fire in the wire, driver! Nothing says I appreciate my project like wringing every last drop out of it, haha. I wanna see this puppy literally blow the smoke, it’s time for an overhaul - got the Chip Foose of radios on standby.
