yup golden falcon 1000..........sweet!i always liked the placement of the tubes in those .that thing will do over a kw peak easy.
worth a good penny up n running too.

I have no clue I'm in the process of trying to nail down the info on the linear. This item was my mothers she has passed on and this is what I asked for all mom's cb equipment base/mobile/linear/freak meters/volt-watt meter/40' foot steel tower. The base she had was a Courier Centurion and a (mobile) Courier Gladiator both have been modified so I think because there are things on the boards that look like they have been added (soldered) here is a picture of the base with 2 toggle switches underneath it what are they for ? I got no clue

Looks like the makings of a mighty fine setup for you right there.
Maybe add an Astatic D-104/Silver Eagle or a Turner+3 mic and - wham!
Of course, you will have to re-tube that amp and maybe check out the power supply in it. Or just put the tubes in it and take it to a tech and have them go thru it.

Either way, with the 40 ft tower and a decent antenna and that gear - you should be walkin the dog!

I've got a Golden Falcon 1000 and it has 6LF6's in it. I have seen them with different ones however. Whichever one was cheapest at the time is what went in them from what I have heard.

that glenn vfo is cool.
did you happen to get the manual for it?
i need a copy.want to put on my old 6m am rigs.

sorry for your mom's passing. must have been one helluva woman to have that setup. sure would have liked to talk to her in skipland. (y)

So can any 1 tell me from any of the pictures to what or how it
looks modified? And ty for all ya input now to find the tubes And see if it works
(The amp in a few places looks Like a soulder job and a extra chip with gold prongs been added the chip isn't in the picture. But you can see where it sits)
