Just bought two on sale on Amazon for $20 each and did the transmit unlock on them.
I wanted to post it here incase the video disappears.
Hold PTT, Moni, and VFO buttons while powering on.
Radio displays "FACTORY" and then resets itself.
Radio will now TX on GMRS (and other) frequencies.
Make sure you know what frequencies you are allowed to talk on.
