I'm wanting a RJ45 to RJ45 repeater controller cable for the QYT KT-8900D pre-made. I don't want to make one. I want to buy one. I make antennas, not rj45 cables. Surecom offers an RJ45 to 3.5mm speaker mic cable, but I want to pair two mobiles, not a mobile to HT for crossband use.

I think your right... it should be pin to pin...
But, this confuses me:
"
  • Wire the cable according to the standard crossband repeater pinout: Pin 1 (Data In) to Pin 7 (AF Out), Pin 2 (PTT/COS) to Pin 8 (PTT/COS), and Pin 3 (Mic Ground) to Pin 5 (Mic Ground). Do not connect Pin 1 and Pin 7 directly; they are separate signal paths."

Doesn't look like pin-to-pin.

Sorry Homer ...nobody sells these...the color code for RJ45 connector are specific...color wire to correct pin...I think when I first started messing with CAT 5 cable...we ran into issues and had to "make" a "crossover" cable(on occasions)...I had to made diagrams/laminate them and kept in my "IT" go box at the stadium (cheat sheets for various configs)...The color of the wire and specific pin designation were critical...been to long ...I'm old!...
I still have my crimp tools!!!! I know no help again
