I was in Omaha this morning, had the mobile on 38lsb and heard someone out there call out some WWDX #s but missed it cuz of all the traffic. Think they said South Carolina? Can't be sure. 38 was busy for a time this morning.

Fan is a must on these units if you gab. Mine sits on my dash in the Cherokee. Got a USB powered fan blowing down on the heat sink.

I took a small fan like that and put some 3M double sided tape and stuck it right on the rear end of the top case. It blows directly down onto the heat sink. Look a little corny, but does a good job. Been looking for a small cross flow fan to mount back there.

Ralph ( S&W ) needed fans , I had a few & shipped him them w/ micro toggle switches , I took them out of & old PC . He said they do the job ! I had them , he needed them , no use for them here so off to Nc they went . That's what friends are for . That's why he call's them " The RI Cool Breeze Fans " .:) He supplied his own Chicken Wire for mounting on one of them !

Y’all got me thinking about fans now but I liked my frosty idea better, though it’s not practical.

Yes I'm thankful to Leo for the "Rhode Island Cool Breeze" airflow those three fans provide. (y)

Two mounted on wire mesh "attachments" and one held down with Velcro.

And NO, (before any asks) I don't run either the top nor the bottom amp in a stacked position. :ROFLMAO:

Take the fan off, crank it up and slap a Ribeye on top.
