I have a Ranger RCI 2950 and hooked a brand new ZeTaGi B300P in the Car

The radio's output is set to MAX 10WATT AM/FM/SSB and VSWR is fine.
The SWR is raising just abit when i select other options steps as it have 6 different steps

But when i turn one the amp i can hear that the relay inside the amp is turning on/off when ever i try talking the PRE AMP is also working but the AMP dont give me any power at all.So i wounder if the Car Battery is to small in AMP to handle both Radio/AMP plus all the other things there is connected to the same Battery?? I know that the Radio is working been talking to othere people on it.

Can anyone maybe try help me on this

Amp seems to be burned.
Test 455's with multimeter to make sure if they are ok or not.
10W is too much anyway to drive this.
2W AM carrier and 15W PEP on SSB is enough.

Make sure you have thick power cables sufficient to carry the current from the battery, and you are wired direct (not via the car wiring loom).

As sp5it said, reduce the drive a bit.

Run the car engine and try again.

Also if you are using SSB make sure the switch is set to SSB, it puts a delay on the relay to stop it dropping during nulls.
