Roll your own, Quads are cheap and easy to build, all parts can be bought at home depot HOMERBB has a thread about the outdoor loop that turned into a quad. Good reading

thank you I will give it a read... I am an avid DIYer / hobbyist... most likley I will end up just building something I imagine

but you know sometimes you get REALLY lucky when buying used gear

You can build a mono band antenna better quality than can be purchased.

Exception is multi band trapped yagi's, but they also can be made with coax traps, I am getting ready to build a multi band vertical using coax traps. Hope it turns out but the fun is in the building.
