Like for a driver's license,they took away that right and made it a privilege that can be taken away. A couple of months ago 40 something odd democrats submitted a request to repeal our 1 st amendment rights.

Believe me that people like feinstein would take all of our guns away from us immediately if given an inch. The socialists have been chipping away at our constitutional rights for at least fifty years and they'll still chipping away. That's why we need organizations like the NRA and other watchdogs to keep the same so called socialists at bay.
A driver's license was never a right nor should it ever be a right. Imagine a DUI arguing it is his RIGHT not to be suspended.
I read somewhere that it once was but I was using that comment for my previous reply. Yeah I know it sounds stupid. I was attempting to show differentiation between a right which can't(hopefully) be taken away and a privilege I. Which something is given which can be taken away.

Good to see most of the country allows open carry, but what's up with Texas and S.Carolina? I figured those two states would be the first to allow it.
You'll see open carry here in southern ohio a little bit, mostly just guys wanting to show off their piece. Concealed carry is real popular here though.
I used to open carry every time I saddled my horse and headed into the woods here in SOhio. I kinda got out of the habit and carry a Machete Jr on my saddle now instead, but I used to get some strange looks running into other riders on the trail. People just don't know how to take someone wearing a gun in the open I guess.
