38LSB

Well thought I would update this post. For the last few weeks it's seems, almost every night about 8pm-10pm I've been getting some phenomenal DX from just about every state up the east coast from FL and west out to as far as TX and North from there as well.
Between last night and the night before I must have logged probably 100 or more new contacts. I spoke to more people than that I would venture to say as some were people I have gotten to know well. Don't know if any of the forum members have been on, but it's been an experience for me as normally it's pretty quiet at night.
I also was able to speak to Vulture Radio 45 out of Pensacola, FL last night, never got him before although I have talked to others near him. But what's amazing is the signal he was giving me and I was giving him. S5 to S9 here on my Icom 746, no preamp on either, and me doing the same to him or better he said. Pensacola is 384 miles direct from me. Pretty good contact at any rate!! Had a blast and hopefully will continue to at night!! If anyone sees this let me know, shoot a PM or post here, I'll catch it, and maybe we can link up on air!! Like I said, been talking with gents from GA to Canada and west out to about TX. And it's been rather nice actually!! No noise toys and Shizz heads to be bothered by!! Just thought I would let some others know. Keep that radio on at Night between 7:30-10:30pm!! It's been great DX!! From FL to Canada, back and forth!! Anyway. 73 and God Bless to all and Happy DXing!!!

And oh yes. This was all just on 38lsb. Seemed like the other freqs has qso's going, but 38 is where everyone seems to be!! This is at night. 8-10pm. East coast of USA. Again, happy dxing.

I have talked to a few gents in PA. When the DX is running up that way it's all the states including PA that seem to be most prevelant. All the way west to like LA and East TX and then north. It hasn't been like this the last few nights, but just 4-5 days ago it was good and it was this way for some time before. Like a couple weeks. It will come again. Conditions seem to be poor for me right now. Just a lot of ground noise and man made noise as everything got real wet and there are some bad photocells near me I think. The noise becomes worse after a good rain. At any rate maybe I'll catch you soon on air if the conditions let me. What are your numbers hotrod?? And I am the only 222 out of Daytona Beach, FL, is that is who you heard. Have a good one and maybe talk soon.

Had a little DX rolling this noon here in Iowa before the Spanish speakers took over. I was hearing a lot of California and a little bit of Oklahoma.

I couldn't seem to get through the mud on a barefoot RCI 2950, and just assembled a new dipole I made from copper tubing and was hoping to test.

I did catch a radio check on 19 am and got good report, so guess the conditions were locking me down. We'll try again later.
