WTH??

I suspect if you open the case you may find evidence of modification origin, such as assorted bits of sand, from the plains of New Mexico desert, or the slight smell of Dawn Mild Radio Douche. Anyway thumbs up on orginality, I have always wanted to put a model PC motherboard and components inside an old heavy case like an IBM PS/2 heavy style case.

I'm reasonably sure the Spermenator had nothing to with this monster. The seller would want you to believe he did, for whatever reason escapes me.

here is a funny one to watch. a 29ltd almost $300 now. hahahaha, people are stupid. it is the cool army one but still.
Yeah! That's to much for that radio, but someone will buy it. I can't say anything about anyone because I gave way to much for a speaker for my Madison base station. :)

I hear you! I once paid 190.00 for a new old stock sealed unopened tool kit for a Honda 90 trail bike. Got a bit amped up chasing original part numbers! Does not happen since then though, as I learned that day! Haha

ok now tools car parts etc is a whole different animal. that kind of stuff sometimes you will pay top dollar to get it but thats different. its an item that will outlast you and helps to create something that could be awesome. a cb radio is well, just a cb radio. its a toy literally. its not a cool boat anchor radio from the war era or some bad ass modern day hf rig. its a cheaply designed and built radio that most people could care less about. to each his own but i stand by my belief, if you spend three, four, five, six hundred dollars or more on a used cb radio, or a new one for that matter your out of your mind.

I have one of those still in the box. I think I hooked it up just to test it as it was a craigslist buy a lot of years ago. Bought it coz I spent a little time in the Army...it's kinda a working novelty item. The Harley ones and the Dale Earnhardt ones sell pretty good usually too. And in the box for just about everything is more Just depends on what someone wants. The special Edition radios, whatever they may be, most likely end up being wall hangers, and as time goes on they become rarer.
With inflation the way it is and shortages of everything prices are crazy on everything.
Never thought I'd pay $7 for a dozen eggs either, or $5+ for a gallon of milk. But here we are, and that radio sold for $306 plus the freight.
