There was a guy that went by X Bones that was making them but I have no contact info.
In your picture above the one on the right is a uniden board used in the Lincoln radios to replace the MRF 477/497.
Maybe a UK based radio service would have replacements?
The one on the left looks home brew to me.
I will dig around some more and see if anything else pops up.
have you tried RF PARTS company? i got some oddball stuff from them like that before
phone 760 744 0700. every time ive called i got a nice intelligent person on the other end
Kens has a lot of older pieces and parts. They often have lots of stuff not listed on the website. Could possibly send them an email inquiring about the part.
Howard W. Sam's Photofact CB Radio Books are available from Ken's Electronics, (Wholesale & Retail Electronic Parts) Kalamazoo, Michigan at reasonable prices
The board number is PB288AA. I did an extensive search and found nothing. Also tried RF PARTS, Ken's electronics, etc., also zip.
I think I'll just draw up a pc board design and have a local PC board shop make me a few. Thanks 73.
JJ, look at this thread, Andy posted some good pictures of the board used in the Connex, and some circuit diagrams that may be helpful.
Also the boards by X bones, it has a 2020 date on it.
Years back there was a site on the internet that showed how to remove the final on a galaxy/connex and replace it with a 2sc 2290. Did anyone happen to save that info? It does not seem to show up anymore. Thanks
