On a better note - - - I had a lot of contacts today. ( 30+). Talked to many old friends from times gone by. A real trip down memory lane. If you think it is a zoo out there now, just imagine what it will be like post-Christmas when all the new "Christmas CBers" get on the air. Back in the day, it wasn't bad as most newbees just had 5-watt rigs. But now with inexpensive 100W radios out there . . . well you get the idea. Hopefully, after the holidays it will settle down somewhat and DXing will return to "normal."

I hear all that hash and trash too, and I'm so tempted to say what I think. BUT . . . I shut up because I don't want to add to it. Cb radio has always been a place for the cowards, low-lifes and gutter trash to cause problems because they can do it from behind a mike (or a keyboard) and not face -to -face. Just remember what goes around, comes around, and they will get their's some day. The best we can expect is to be there and watch it when it happens.

Even with all the hash-n-trash on the band I had a pretty successful day of dx.

The 2950dx6 was replaced by the 7900v turbo and it was a fun one.

I thought I heard you out there Chris. At least I heard "Delaware" several times. That time of day, DX is trailing off down here and any contacts I make are short and sweet. Next time go to 35 Upper and give me a shout. I was switching back and forth from 35U to 37L checking for WDXers. I'm certain I would have heard you there.

I finally made it to the radio room at 6:15 cst. Had two good qso's. 428 Ontario and a long qso with 762 Alberta. Conditions died out after that. Better late than never I suppose.
After reading some of the posts from today, I don't feel so bad about being too busy earlier...

Good evening all, Well I'm off work until Friday, so I'll be on the air every day starting around 9 am on 37 LSB and checking 35 USB preodically,Dad and I are Staying home for a quiet Christmas this year, probably going to the local church to have Christmas dinner,if any forum member would like to chat,let me know and we will see if the DX conditions allow,Hope everyone has a great Christmas week ahead!!!!!

Same here with family. But tonight we're celebrating because Luz is leaving to go to Ecuador to visit her grandma tomorrow . So I'm alone for the next week. I will be working in my shop and monitoring 35U and 37L the whole time. Give me a shout. I'll do my best to get back to you. 73 and Merry Christmas.

My plate will be full for the next couple of days with family activities and they aren't all good. My 93 YO mom goes in tomorrow for a high risk operation so we're sweating. Hopefully on 25 I'll be visiting my 2 daughters, son-in-laws, & grand-kids.
But the bright side is the weather is suppose to warm up a little.
