sadly cb ,2 meters and 70 cm..Well that makes sense considering that there is only a small fraction of the stations on the air that there were in the 1970's thru 1990's !
I remember talking to folks up in Yukon every night in the late1990's on 36LSB....not a single one of those guys is still on the radio today. And that's just one area.....
Back then there were so many sideband operators on Vancouver Island that they had three call channels going 31, 32 and 37. Now there are maybe a dozen ops at most on the entire island, and ten of them never bother turning on the radio.
Times have changed..........
i hear from some take the test go up your license its where all are. i reply went through cb dying went back got amature license again bought more equipment then 2 years later... silence. not falling down a bigger fox hole again cause id buy a good radio set great antenna up. 2 years later silence .rather buy trade firearms with that same money. try selling vhf uhf radios now see how much you loose,same $$$ in firearms and $$$ increases when we sell or trade
