Thanx. I did go against my own judgement and filed an informal complaint with the FCC. Seems my complaint falls under 2 rules; part 15 and part 95. It has been determined that CB IS a licensed piece. It's a license by rule piece and therefore, cannot be knowingly interfered with. AND, The residents have been notified that they are interfering and the owners have been notified. No one is doing anything. So, I filed the complaint. Now I wait.
Hey @Brother DXer , great talking to you and thanks for the contact. I am surprised you could hear me because my antenna is pointed at the North West corner. I can't point it at you because my house is in the way. Always nice talking to forum members.

Where were you a few days ago when we talked? You said you were in the mobile.
I like the idea @Rick330man had about us WDXers trying for a couple of days in December. Using 335 and 345 because they're usually not too crowded. I would go even one step further and qsy to 330 or 340 after contact. Conditions seem to be prime.
I'll have to look back and see what dates he had in mind.

Hey Rod, I was across town the other day we made contact. Driving home from work and stuck in slow traffic on the 6Pro in my truck. I have been dreaming of an 8 pill Carl Built, but it's going to have to wait until spring. We will see. Definitely looking forward to making contact with members on the December weekend and QSY to the zeros would work great. USB is another option too, so we have some things to try. The DX is definitely picking up on my end, I can usually hear across the pond during the day and in the evening Hawaii. And that's with my beam pointed at the North West corner too. I hope the wind stays low and I will stand my Vector 4k up and see what I can do.

I only make the occasional contact with other WWDX members, but when I do it's usually either on 36 or 37LSB. I made more WWDX connections back when we had the 16LSB thing going on weekends a couple years back. Most of the time I'm chasing international DX on 27.555 USB. I do talk to Texas often, so hopefully we will connect at some point! What are your numbers?
