Expo 100 expander channel kits info needed

Dmans

Yes on the xtals price back when. I just got a price of $4600.00 for 250 xtals to be made about $30.00 a xtal. I know what freq. xtal should be in the Expo a and a+ and also the expo S- and S+ kits but some other kits would be nice to have that list to cross reference the Letters to xtals freq in the Expo 100 Kits
What is the crystal for the expo 100s - and the expo100s+ ?

Will the A+ kit add upper and lowers in a road king rk564 ? I never owned nor do i currently have a road king rk564 in my posession however i can only specify my curiosity of this radio being compatible judging by what the inside of the radio looks like that resembles a cobra 29 ltd tho i am very much aware that just because the circuit board layout in these two radios looks very simular does not mean they are shareing the same circuitry as well.
So can the road king rk564 be modified for frequency expansion and if so can i install the expo 100 A+ kit ?.
I know sombody who has one and i thought it was really neat looking with all the blue LED lights allover the face of the radio and it had pretty good sounding receive and its a real talker with a power mic.

Yes you can add a channel kit to this Road King model. Not the FM just Am model.
This radio is all surface mount but the A kits high/low kit will work or just a single band board will work most go 40 below. Kits are 3 wire install and my kits have a 3 position rotary switch where on this radio and all the cobra 29 classics and unidens remove the delta tune useless on an am radio and install this small profile rotary and use your stock knob. Radio will look stock as the sw is> left for low> mid for regular and right for high channels.
A customer sent one RK to me and I installed the kit and sent it back he bought about 10 of these radios to sell from someone and then bought 10 kits from me so he could install on his new stock RK radios.

Radio tuned good as on surface mount not much to tune so radio just AM can be modified for extra channels
