Just a heads up, the K40 has a ceramic matching capacitor inside the coil base and it will not like your KL-200p power, will probably burn out sending swr through the roof and possibly blowing your amp. They were designed back in the days when CB radios were just 4 Watts. Great little antenna...

The Amps will probably not have the correct biasing for SSB use, all you will get is a large splatter box, which will not go down well with your fellow SSB operators. Just saying ;-)

Talkback can be set in the menu, I find turning it up gives feedback, Ive never been a fan and in my alinco I turned it off.
