    Got my first DX today

25 watts and an inverted vee got me from South Carolina to Costa Rica on 10 meters today. That was pretty darned cool. Took a lot of patience, but he finally responded to my call. He said I was 5-1, but it was good enough to get a confirmed QSL in LoTW. Good enough to make an HF noob happy!

    Help ID'ing a SSB mobile?

I stumbled upon this at the fleamarket today for $5.00. Anybody know what it is? No tags and nothing I could find on the board It has a 4 pin Midland mic. At first I was thinking Sears based on the 106 sticker on the backplate, but I couldn't find anything via Google. Many thanks in advance.
