It certain areas of the country it may not be dead yet, but it certainly sounds like it's on life support.
I never had a problem with the top section of my IMAX 2000 so "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
I never had to adjust any rings on my IMAX either.
My Imax 2000 is chimney mounted and so was my A99.
IMO the GPK is actually pretty ugly. :LOL:
Yes, I did tests from my fixed station to other fixed stations and there was no noticeable difference in either TX or RX.
The A99 is a great antenna to start with, and so is the IMAX 2000. (y)

That's because they have become a collector's item.
I think that's because we live in a throw-away society.
Supposedly in the directional mode you could run up to 1500 watts.
