11 meter is very quiet?

The DX has returned out here on the west coast of Canada! After hearing very little of anything for over month we have had lots of activity the last three days. Making some Gulf Coast, Louisiana, Florida and Caribbean contacts by day and Lots of Hawaii and Australia booming in again in the evening. South America especially Brazil and Argentina coming in strong on the upper frequencies. Nice to be hearing voices emanating from the radio and making contacts again!
I just returned from a 2 day trip about 85-90 miles away and turned the mobile on for a listen a few times and didn't hear much going on. Thank God for the FM Music radio. Probably be Slim Pickens until Fall but we'll keep on trying. I have enough to keep me out of mischief. LOL
Wouldn't you know it, here it is Sunday and the solar site says conditions are good for today. Time tells all tales !
For the most part, skip is really quiet here. Occasionally I'll hear faint brief voices from east to west coast. Only major activity seems to be non stop Mexico playing with noise toys and cranking up the echo. Evenings yield Australia and Jamaica for a short window. On the plus side, I have 8-10 locals in a 60 mile radius that enjoy uninterrupted nightly talks on 25.535 lsb.
It was good here this afternoon, talked to @DXman and Jamaica back to back sitting in front of the post office when I went to pick up the mail.

I heard you! Gave you a couple calls after you wrapped up with DX Man, but it seemed like everyone in Cali was trying to call him at that point LOL!
Did make a bunch of other California and Nevada contacts. Nice to see the summertime short skip season beginning!

Well I just turned on my Radio just now and conditions are really starting to come in up here in Central PA, haven't really been on the Air for almost 2 weeks due to work and lack of conditions,but I was able to make contact out of Pensacola, Florida today from a Gentleman named Randy and his he went by the call sign Whiskey Jack 113, I might be on this afternoon around 2pm on either 37 or 38 LSB, I'm going to try to get on the radio more this upcoming week ahead since I'm currently on vacation, hope everyone has a great day today!!!!!!

Yeah the solar site said fair for the day but I actually heard more chatter thru out the day today than I have in a while. Too busy to set at the radio but was nice to hear it sounding off when I passed by for a change.
