    11 meter is very quiet?

I was out in the garage today, doing spark plugs and fuel injectors on my Dad's Jeep Wrangler. The straight six is so nice to work on, everything was right on top and nothing was in the way. The injectors he got have 12 holes instead of one, supposed to really help mileage and throttle response...

    New Uniden BC906W Cordless Mic

I believe it can be done, I seem to remember a YouTube video of a guy who put one on his Galaxy radio. He had to make a cord to plug into the speaker jack in the back for rx audio.

    Ammo Can Portable Radio

That might be an option, maybe I should put a small digital thermometer setup on the heatsink. I will see what I can find, it will have to be tiny.

    Ammo Can Portable Radio

It fits now, so I need to figure out what I want for the control panel. Will probably go with lighter socket, USB volt meter, power switch, so239. Maybe some small power meter too. Stay tuned!

    Ammo Can Portable Radio

Back to the 955hpc+, making progress. I removed the heat sink and tried to use one from an 86v that got an RFX95 but the holes were a different size and they didn't match up with the radio. Plan B involved cutting the fins 3/4 inch. Will it overheat with short fins and in the box? I will let you...

With my beam pointed at Europe, I had a radio full of 26 division this morning around 8. And absolutely nothing the rest of the day...
