This is the new amp that has the 4 × ERF9530's in it. The one on top is the driver used to get the most out of the Rocket Box. They are on the market, too.

    TYT TH9800 Issue

Thanks, again! I will look into it. I'm interested only fixing my issue, no additional mods. But I'm not sure of whether I can pull it off. Really terrible with the soldering. Afraid of the surface mounted stuff. I do have the necessary tools to do it, just never developed the skills. Too busy...

    TYT TH9800 Issue

I purchased one of these quad band radios because I wanted a crossband router functioning option. I paid just over $200 new and was delighted at how well it worked when set up. Then, by a couple months of owning it the audio output failed. I had signal, and others heard me when I transmitted...

    Ofcd vs fan dipole. Opinions?

I realize this is an older thread, but ... I've used both, and my current HF multiband antenna is an OCF dipole, while the very first HF antenna I made and put up after I got my ticket was a fan dipole. The fan dipole seemed to work fine, but it was cumbersome to pull up and down to tune, and...

There is also this thing. I have no idea what it is. AI says this, "The object shown in the image is a 0.96 inch I2C OLED display module."

I believe you are correct about them being ERF9530 (The amp I mentioned looking into is a Rocket Box HD500 MOS). At Walmart right now. When I get home I'll confirm it.

I just looked into an amp I also got from the widow that has 4 of the ERF9530s in it. It must be one of those adaptations. I won't use them, but I'd sell them cheap (as I said I would) if anyone is in the market. I just didn't know whether they are desirable.

Thanks. I'm asking because I came into some of these from a silent key widow. I promised to market them and wondered if they had any value. They seem pricey online. I have 10 of the ERF9530, 2 of the MRF300an, and 2 of the MRF300bn. I thought they were amplifier related as he worked on such...

Does anyone here ever use ERF9530, MRF300AN, or MRF300BNs? How useful are they?

    For Sale UBITX 6.1

Anyone interested in a Ubitx V6.1? (good unit, but I have another one I'm keeping) This one is already assembled, and works as advertised. It's virtually unused, tested it yesterday after it being stored for ~2 years. With an antenna in my attic I made a POTA contact on 14.252 with peak 3watts...

11 Meter CB antenna plans needed

Building a working 11m antenna can be done in minutes. Example: One (1) 9' household extension cord. One (1) coax long enough to get back to the radio. Cut the female block off the cord, split the two wires apart from each other, and attach one end of the coax to the male plug prongs. The 9'...
