    Haha, I use an old, cheap stereo speaker, too. They work great. Puts a little bass in the audio, not as scratchy.

    2m beams quad vs yagi

    Still tinkering. I'll post when I get done. Acts kinda wierd. Some repeaters get good sig, some dont. Great side rejection good back, so far. I need to get better coax before I think I'll get optimum results.

    Comparing my Starduster to my I-10K

    A Starduster is a 1/4 wave vertical. Radials with a downward angle to bring the impedance closer to 50 ohm. I'd hope Jays antenna would do better. Can't see how it wouldn't. 1 S-unit could be considered 6 db gain over the Starduster. Might be about right.
