I’m operating mobile on 27.385 LSB. I hear a 401 and 323 out there but conditions are rough.

I'm looking forward to Saturday. I have it free and I will be bouncing between 10 and 11m on my mobile at the lake all day here in the PNW!

OK, adding photos of my Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V Field's mod. The first is the whole circuit board, followed by the resistor in its original spot and the 2nd where you need to move it. After you do this you have to get into menu 9-9 and move from USA to "general". Then you're done

I’m trying to find where the general coverage mod is for the FT-1000MP. Can find nothing online!

How did this go? I just picked up a FT-1000MP Mark V Field that I'll have to do this to.

Well, I picked up two nice MC-60 Kenwood mics under the impression they'd work on my Yaesu. THEY DON'T!! hahaha Anyone explain where to find a good rewire chart? Thanks!!!

I run a Sirio 5000 with mag mount and it is 6 years old with zero issues. Flat match. I've worked Brazil, Australia and Japan from my car in Seattle.

My Smokey & the Bandit wanna be 1978 Z/28 in 1997. Conditions were great that year as you can see on my 148GTL is on 38LSB. I worked Hawaii from my car in Seattle, WA!

It's been hooked up the same way since new, same antenna, same power. The antenna has been used to work half the world so I'm sure that is OK!

It is straight to my car battery and it powers my Yaesu FT-840 just fine?
