Your right 100% is 100% modulation. The quality of the audio can differ from one radio to the next.

I don't care about the other frequencies. They might be nice to go on when I get bored on AM. I just want to find out if the Galaxy has audio close the the general lee. The main thing to me is the audio.

Does one have better audio on AM? Or are they pretty equal.

I wasn't comparing those two to the optima. The optima is clearly better. But of those two general lee and 979 which has better audio? Thanks :)

Yeah I know they should never touch the machines. But it has happened in these stores on numerous occasions. Or you have a kid under 18 using the baler because the manager told him to. All they think is to follow the managers orders. The store gets in trouble, but the kid is held responsible...

What are some good new radios on the market that are great on am, but also have ssb? I have only used AM and their are a bunch of people in my area that use AM. So I have to have a great AM radio. I am kinda interested in ssb though. Some radios that I am considering... Magnum 257hp Yeticom...
