    psk31

Try 14.070 USB and check the digipan soundcard setup if you don't see anything more, on some PC's you may have to go into control panel to change the input from mic in to line in or vice versa to get it to work. Any details on frequency or PC?

    Recession Rant

It seems that a lot of us in the midwest are paying too much for taxes, we elect too many democrats and don't tax the rich near enough. I hated Wisconsin's former governor Doyle, but it seems the current governor hasn't got the balls to do what is needed to bring a lot of manufacturing back to...

    Wouxun kg-uv920r Mobile

There was some talk on another site about Wouxun having a suprise of some sort at Dayton, it could be the release of the UV920, but I haven't heard of any FCC approval yet if they want it to be part 90

    linear transponder inverting ssb/cw

on a non-inverting sat the subtraction will give you a number that you can add to your VHF uplink to get close to your UHF downlink, or subtract from your UHF uplink to find a VHF downlink, I don't think any non-inverting birds are still in operation. FO-29 up down 145.90...

    FT-847

Just got it today, its in very good condition and it RX's well on 20M for psk31, it seems to be just as good as my 857. I have no ploblems with HRD controlling it but I can not get satpc32 to control it, I am going to do some more research at the satpc32 site as I didn't have HRD or any other...

    linear transponder inverting ssb/cw

Yes, it would have been a LSB transmit on the uplink of about 145.955 at the sat assuming that it was low enough for you to have little or no doppler affect. Now if the op is at AOS on a high pass, the op could be TXing at about 145.952, and at LOS it may be around 145.958. There is a simple...

    Satellite Operation on UHF/VHF

What program is best is just a matter of opinion, I prefer Orbitron. Then there is Nova, SatPC32, opensat.net? and others. Check amsat.org for FAQ's or beginners guides, and there is Clint Bradford's(K6LCS) site, he has a 4 page pdf newbie guide to FM sats. A few pointers, AO-51 isn't...

Kenwood TH-D72 linking with an external GPS question.

There is another possibility, like using a Garmin Nuvi 350, I think it was N2QDK(?) that did get the 350 to work with a Tiny-trak with a yaesu 7800? Some of the garmins had issues with displaying the APRS locations multiple times. I have no idea if it(Nuvi 350) will interface directly with the...

    AO-51 in bad shape

A command team member has posted that AO-51 might be available on holidays and weekends, I think on 435.150 downlink and 145.88 up, but if you don't hear it, don't transmit. Here is what Drew posted on the Amsat board We are working on this right now. There are six commands that have to be...

    Kenwood TH-D72 failures

It may that a wire broke or bad solder joint caused the audio problem, but it could be caused by the external speaker connector also

    AO-51 in bad shape

Batteries are about shot and attempts to reload the software are failing because the sat doesn't retain what has already been uploaded through its eclipsed stage. The command team has a few more options but there has been no return to service date set.

    FT-847

The 847 made a big impression on the sat ops. The CAT cable is just a null-modem 9 pin serial cable, I should have one around if I can find it, if not I can probably solder one together quick. Tony, I agree, Craig and his wife deserve recognition for his 20+ years of service, I think it was 5...

    FT-847

I just bought a FT-847 on ebay, should be a 2003 year model from Berghardt radio repair, 30 day warrantee. I figure I'll try using it on the linear transponder satellites with my arrow antenna without the duplexer. The owner has a good reputation over the years so I feel this is a good...

    Ham Radio Deluxe Problem

Congrats on passing General! The Amateur Extra test is a pain even if you have studied for it, I think the question pool is between 600-700 questions. Now you can use psk31 if you have an antenna, and a simple dipole works just to get on the air(actually all I use on HF). Good Luck

    Ham Radio Deluxe Problem

You will have to do some research on your Bux Comm model to see what it can do. I doubt you will have any luck trying to run digipan and airlink simultaneously using the same com port, the second program won't be able to access it due to the other having it already and you might see an error...
