The term handle is an old slang term for name that goes back to the cowboys of the Old West.
Telegraphers picked it up and the ham radio operators got it from them.
CB operators copied the hams.
For Hams it can be either the operators first name
or a nickname such as Sparks or Rusty...
actually, back in the day, when I worked for BELL LABS, we proved that you could actually measure the darkness absorbing capacity of Fluorescence tubes,
when they had dark rings on BOTH ends , they were full and would no longer work properly,............. jus sayin

Solid-state amplifiers cannot be class "AB1" or class "AB2". A bipolar transistor amp cannot be a sub 1 or sub 2 class because they do not have grids to have or not have grid current. Solid-state amplifiers have bases or gates, and a bipolar transistor...

well, that depends on the xmit freq .
ALL exports ARE illegal to use on any CB freq by anyone...PERIOD
