Im running a 1080 EFHW , and I like it.

I tested the Signal Stick today, and the results are pretty close. I think the Abbree 28" version is better transmitting on VHF,but lacks on UHF. The Signal Stick transmits darn near as good as the Abree, but the Signal Stick pulls in UHF better for some reason. I think the stick is 21 " long...

That's pretty darn close. Maybe seat the bullets a tad higher, and load up 20 of those to try. If I had to worry about that little bit of differance my AR would never get through a 30 Rd dump.:D

I'd try a New Magazine before I broke out the Dremal Tool. Same thing kinda happened to me when I put the Kimble .22 cal conversion on my Colt 1911. It wouldn't feed right, and the slide wouldn't go all the way back. I bought a new mag , and all is well now.

I've been testing this antenna for 2 days now, and it rocks. It's very cumbersome but Dang does it radiate RF. I'm hitting repeaters 34 miles away hard. Got the radio yesterday, and Binged Radio listened all day and night. Dang this thing is cool. I had no idea a little portable could be so dang fun. I'm hooked.

yeah that's a potential weak spot. there is a sma to bnc connector that firms that up. Im going to have to get me a few of those . Cant wait to try them out,.
