I bought this 55' trailer mounted tower in Alabama. Sat in the back yard for a good while but last week i finally got around to assembling a Maco V5000 so today I cranked her up about 90% of what she will go.. I'm stoked. near as i can tell its about 64' to the bottom of the antenna.

I never thought much of these little radios. Never gave them a chance but i must say i am very very impressed. I've got the diode mod for rx in just about every radio I own. I spend a lot of time with a new purchase tweaking the ears. ect ect. but I must say this radio hears as good as my best...
