how can you know a power supply is putting out the amps it is supposed to be putting out??
I can check voltage, but how do you check to see if a power supply will supply the amps it says it will?
thanks

hi
I have discovered that this radio is the infamous "blue dot" nonconvertable radio....
But it can be converted by taking the plug off the module and soldering straight to the board and IC
NOW for second problem the function buttons do not work, the ones right below the display dim...
I have looked and can NOT see any empty pins to plug the module into...
bottom of radio face toward me on the left behind the display..do NOt see an empty spot ...
now on the right there is an empty 4 pin spot?
but the module is 3 pin
any other suggestions?
thanks
sam
have just purchased a RCI 2950DX [green face] and the seller tells me he has never installed the "11 meter module" but that it is included ...
does anyone know how , where to install the module?
thanks

hi
Need info about adding a switch to turn off the internal amplifier inside an eagle 5000/galaxy turbo.....
the radio on lowest power setting is swinging too much for the amp I am using [DK 4watts swing to 120 pep]
I know on RCI 2970 radios that a switch can be installed to turn off...
I have read on an auction site [ what a source for truth] that the palomar 300A has two dead key settings ...on low the amp can be driven with up to 100 dead key [driver tubes are out of line....
and on high the amp should only be driven with max 10 watt dead key...
Is this correct info??
I...

I have tried ham radio outlet, amature electronics supply, rf parts, 1 stop electronics, none...
tried AES --- NO PARTS
