When you have a mid-to-large website, along with a day job, maybe wife and kids, it's easy to get sidetracked and put it on the back burner for that rainy day that never comes.
re: mobile
The 7000 might be okay if the noise blanker has been improved as compared to the 706 line. If I was running mobile, I'd go with the Yaesu because they have a better NB. Of course, nothing is worse than the Alinco DX70 when it comes to Noise Blanking.
Hey, sorry for not checking the pages lately.....just enjoying the "SKIP". I've varied the mic gain, tried processor on, and off, no apparent settings on the MD200 (surprising for such an expensive mic). It too has a switch on the bottom, but it's to switch between the rj45 and 8pin plugs...
Hi Stu,

I've resisted advertising on my sites over the past 13 or so years, but jut recently set up "Advertise by Google". Naturally this fits CB SHOPS more than anything else, and I do get quite a bit of traffic as they catch up on my rants 'n raves, so I decided to do this as an experiment
1. To see...
I've been trained in the last six months just to be happy for a day or two of skip, but all that brainwashing is gone with 3 weeks of solid skip. I can turn on my rig at 6:30 am and it's already going - how about your areas?
Good use for the breadrack! I'm getting rid of the one in our server room soon...maybe I can talk the big guy into letting me have it - it sure holds a lot of weight (radios or servers)
