I believe it is a 20 amp. I will check an make sure if not it will be a 10 amp fuse. The sch is on CBTricks. Also back up to page 3 that is the sch. 238

Replacing the caps & diodes & resisters in my one tuber. The diodes are 1N4725 i have 1N5408. By the specs they are both 1Kv x 3 amp. So the 5408 should work ok 238

Working on a MKlll receiver. There is 2 different models. The early one has MAN/XTL/XTL and the later has CB/HF/XTL. All the schematic's i have are of the older model. Did they print one for the late model? 238

Changed the driver tube 5763 & 6gh8 out. I believe the driver was the problem. I will run it tonight an see it goes. 238

Thad switched transmitters out. I took the GE out & put a MKll in line. I checked the MKll & it does drop a watt or two when you hold it keyed. I had not been running Scout & just put it in line. Thanks 238

When you key it up it will about key around 10 watts. But you hold it keyed a minute or less it will drop down a 2 or 3 watts. I tried 4 tubes same thing either the tubes are about the same shape. Could some thing else cause this. The caps been change several years ago. 238

OK. I was referring to just removing the relay not the broad. I know the broad has to be in there, just was not sure about the relay. Probably just leave alone. Thanks Jim

I know you disconnect the receive pre amp by cutting the 2 wires going to the main relay. Then solder a jumper across on that relay. I know you have to leave the pre amp broad in so it can key, but can you go ahead an remove the pre relay? 238

I usually run a Sonar or a Browning, but i would have to run a driver. I might have a coil out of a 300/750 it might be different. The one tubers had a resistor between the little stand up input & the tube. 238
