I fixed the problem by taking the covers off as well as the chrome face plate cover and cleaned the selector with electro -clean type spray. Rotated the selector to work the cleaner in. It dries residue free. Working fine now, making reliable contact.

It will read 17 but not be on channel. I can mess with the selector a bit and get the channel back, but it's a pain in the arse. Maybe dirty switch, or is the selector burned or wore out on that channel. Does it on the two most used channels, 2 and 17. Any ideas for a do it yourself fix!!

I like to use the advance mode under coefficient reflection. This mode lets me center the bandwidth where I want it. Just get it to read .00 and -48db and it's heaven. These numbers are hard to get but it can be done. Get it around -38db to -42db and your done. Reflect should be .01 to .02...
