Was talking on a skipper 300 the other night when all of a sudden I heard a loud clunk. Amplifier has no output. I think the transformer may have blew a winding? What do you all think? Thank you
Working on a mark three that when I turn up the audio pot, which I believe off the top of my head is R38, The audio actually drops and it gets distorted and fuzzy . Any suggestions as to what May be causing this? I cleaned the pot, but it still does it.

new spt500 is up and performing great. 2 s unit increase to multiple (at least 5) stations 12 miles away. Receive up 2 s units as well.
It replaced an aluminum half wave ground plane.

What I am looking to do is, have one radio dedicated for receive. And one dedicated for transmit right next to each other. Will this device allow me to transmit on one radio and then when I un-key, the other radio will receive? That’s what I’m looking to accomplish thank you
For sure. I was just wondering if the long side or short side of the insulator faced the top of the radial plate. The manual seems to show the long side up but it came out of the box short side up
