Wow! Motormouth mall is hammering my northern Michigan radio at 100% modulation on 27.125. That man has one of the cleanest sounding stations I have ever heard regardless of the equipment used.

For sale is my Doug built Galaxy 979, not your average 979 mind you. This is a custom built radio with dual Mosfet finals, upgraded recieve, turbo echo and tuned to perfection. I also had the infamous 979 blinding bright RX/TX light dimmed so as not to blind me or the poor person following...

Tram, Big cat of skythumper, all the same and Just a cheap copy of the P10K. Although they are cheaper and won't last as long the performance is right on par with the 10K, they done very well at copying.

Did you just buy this radio? I have seen many 29's bought used that had uppers and lowers installed. I have one with the three position switch in the RF gain spot and another with the switch in the SWR cal spot, I bought both of them used and did not discover this untill I started using them.
