    they come with a small battery and alternator that is pretty much maxed out by just running . you can purchase a (car audio 1.0 farad capacitor ) and it will solve your problems . this will kill the problem by keeping the voltage @12-14volts at all times . hope this helps . you can find these @...

    i have talked around europe with just a K40 and a president jackson . and it can be installed by magnet , lip or permanent mount .....i got 2 just found one at the flea mall for 2$

    hello all i have a yaesu ft 8100r and the knobs on the left side have become loose thus losing ability to control the left bands volume ans squelch. Is this an easy fix or do i now own half a radio? any help on this manner would be greatly appreciated .
